My Symposium slides are meant to be useful in a variety of meetup settings, online, offline, hybrid.
A few days after releasing my debut vid on the new deck, DAF offered this proof-of-concept video (here embedded), flipping through said Symposium deck, and others it connects to, showing off their usability when presented by someone who has done the homework.
We could anchor several symposia in this way (around these decks and others), and they could run in parallel, because we won't suffer from a presenters' bottleneck.
Why not?
Because we've all trained on each others' decks to a sufficient level to master them and present them. The absence of any given deck developer (e.g. me) is not typically a show stopper. We experience having a vibrant network of faculty, and faculty in training, in our Global U.
Where in Portland might we stage a Wy'east Synergetics Symposium? Where in Eugene? Wearing a location scout's hat (figuratively), I today scoped out BridgeSpace PDX as a possible venue. Or maybe OMSI?
